Trend and Tradition is a non-profit cultural association dedicated to the promotion and the diffusion of contemporary arts and crafts.
It was born in 2011, when Shana Forlani, together with Valentina Cefalù, Eva Filoramo and Ilaria Ruggiero, decided to found an organization that fostered the artistic expressions combining the idea of trend – style and innovation – with the legacy of craft techniques.
Our craft artists are professionals of different age, provenance and background who share the same passion for craftmanship and aesthetical experimentation. They work in small-sized workshops, where they design and make themselves unique or limited-series artworks.
They express themselves with glass, ceramic, metals, wood, paper and fibers, and they are characterized by the artistic fusion of styles and techniques.
