Born in Turin in 1977, she got a degree in Contemporary Art History at the Turin University. Her first jobs were at the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid, and at the curatorial department of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago and of the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation in Turin. She won the prestigious Hilla Rebay Fellowship and worked for the Guggenheim Foundation in New York, Bilbao and Venice. For five years she has been coordinator for schools and family programs at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice.
She has completed her art education with several applied art courses in different Parisian and Venetian workshops. She has been president of the association Trend and Tradition since 2011 and has curated, along with Valentina Cefalù, the exhibitions La via della {im}perfezione, Florence, and Touche, Ivrea.
Shana is a Founding Member of the association.
