Giulio Martellini

giulio martellini Born in Turin in 1970, after classical studies as a teenager he graduates in Law but he still doesn’t know what to do when he grows up. He discovers Industrial and Intellectual Property (shortly, IP) and decides that this is the right job for him, in Madrid and then in Geneva.

In 2000 he qualifies as an Italian and Community trademark and design attorney; in 2002 he obtaines a postgraduate diploma in Trademarks and Designs from the CEIPI – Université Robert Schuman (Strasbourg III).

Since 2005 he has been actively collaborating with WIPO (the United Nations agency for IP, based in Geneva) and INTA (the International Trademark Association), where he currently chairs a subcommittee.

In 2008 he has been admitted to the list of qualified professionals in trademarks and designs held by the French INPI (Institut National de la Propriété Intellectuelle), and he is now a member of the APRAM (Association des Praticiens du Droit des Marques et des Modèles).

After a few jobs in Lausanne and Milan, he goes back to his hometown where, in 2012, he founds with a partner the boutique firm IP Skill, specialized in trademarks, design and domain names care and protection.

He speaks Italian, English, French, Spanish and Piedmontese (badly).
